Quality and reliability We originally designed this USB 2.0 Hub to be used in industrial environments. That means that we've upgraded the EMI shielding, given it a metal case, put a nice backend processor that's capable of handling large amounts of data, and also increasing the reliability for use day in, and day out, without drop outs or resets. Specifically, our chip uses 6 non-periodic transaction buffers, whereas most other hubs only use 2. Think of it like a 6 lane highway instead of 2 lane. The more traffic you have, the more jams you'll have less you have a bigger road. Additionally, our 3.5 Amp adapter has the potential to supplies a full 500Ma of power to each port. Great for every day use While we designed this for industrial/commercial environments, we've also found that 'hard core' gamers have fallen in love with it. Normal 'off the shelf' USB hubs give strange problems. They can make mouse movements jerky, have strange signal drops where the hub needs to be reset, drop when too many devices are connected. This hub solves those problems, period, guaranteed. We regularly talk to folks who don't want another hub, then they try this one, and they never look back. Only the US 2 prong plug is included, but this can easily be adapted with many adapters available on the market.
